Hillary Not a Liberal?

This is a little more believeable than Hillary's claim in the democrat debate that she's not a liberal.

Of course, many liberals have realized that people knowing who they are is detrimental to their electability. When asked if she would describe herself as a liberal she responded that liberal had a connotation of being for big government. She apparently doesn't want to have that image. Maybe she shouldn't advocate government takeover of 1/7th of the economy if that's the case (socialized medicine).

She prefers to call herself a progressive, claiming the mantle of government regulator Teddy Roosevelt and liberals of his era, who didn't go by liberal back then because liberal meant conservative back then.

This is a typical liberal ploy. Change the name to keep people confused. Put lipstick on a pig if you want, and a pink pantsuit, and you've still got a liberal.
