Whatever Happened To: "Stretched Too Thin"?

This is a new feature of the Arkansas Journal, the Whatever Happened To...? section. Sort of like the Where Are They Now File from Vh1, the Whatever Happened To...? will serve as a reminder of what used to be the end of the world as we know it complaints by liberals that they no longer complain about.

It's a favorite from the liberal playbook to complain about something like it's the end of the world, then forget about it when it has lost its political usefulness.

In this edition, I look back on the former liberal complaint that our military is "stretched too thin" to succeed in Iraq. Of course, since the Surge began it's been hard to explain how we pulled these extra 20,000 troops out of a hat to bolster our efforst there.

Look forward to future Whatever Happened Tos...? coming soon. Possible topics: terrorism through containers, uparmored humvees, and, in light of the recent military success in Iraq, the we can win in Iraq militarily propaganda, which liberals consider to be patriotic. Go team!!!
