Possible House Candidates for '08
Came across this over the weekend. It's over 3 weeks old so it may not be the most up to date list. It's a list that Steve Harrelson has somehow compiled of possible candidates. Some of the Repub names look like those I've heard mentioned. I'd love to know who the dummie was that gave him this list.I don't know who a lot of these folks are, even on the Repub side, but it looks like the primary season could be very busy.
This is definitely worth a look.
Some questions include the following,
Randy Minton, who was term limited already, I thought. Though, I'd love to see him in the House, again,
Jonathan Barnett, is he still on the Highway Commission? I'll have to check on that. Doesn't look like he's too hopeful for a Huckabee presidential race if he follows through,
Linda Bisbee, Dave hasn't exactly been the most conservative member of the Ledge. Not a good replacement for an uber-conservative like Burkes, but probably the money candidate,
Vickie Critcher, a real class act. If she's as good as her husband, I'll be very glad to see her in the House,
Bill Walters, is he Shirley's husband?,
John Burris, Gunner DeLay's campaign manager? I like this guy. He was a pretty hard worker. Looks like he'll have a better candidate this time...

Aside from Bill Walters, spouses who’ve said they’ll run for legislative seats next year include:
Linda Bisbee, R-Rogers, who is running for a House seat once held by her husband, Dave.
Vickie Critcher, D-Batesville, running for a House seat once held by her husband, Jack, who is the president pro tempore of the Senate.
Jody Dickinson, D-Newport, running to replace her husband, Tommy, in the House.
Vickey Boozman, R-Cave Springs, whose late husband, Fay, served in the Senate.
Earl Hunton, D-Prairie Grove, whose father, Jerry, once held the seat Earl Hunton seeks.
