Milk Board Considering Ways to Keep State's Small Dairy Farms Afloat---Here's a Thought...Stop Subsidizing Ethanol

I have an idea. Why not stop subsidizing the people who grow their feed?

The state and federal government are driving up the price of corn and other crops used for feed, but I doubt they'll consider that they made this worse than it would otherwise would have been. Playing with dairy prices is only going to make things even worse.
Of course, they're not worried about how all of this hurts consumers like you and me. The cost of meat and dairy is more expensive for all of us because the government can't keep its hands off the free market.
