Sanders Nails It---Huckabee Doesn't Have Hardly Any Support in Arkansas
David Sanders' column today nails Huckabee for rushing to get his list of "supporters" out to do damage control for all the recent news reporting his actual record and his near total lack of support among Arkansas Republicans. It was embarrassing enough that until 1 week ago he only had 3 supporters out of the over 30 current Republican legislators. And bragging about raising that number to only a little over 1/3 isn't smart either, especially considering that Fred Thompson's list of Tennessee legislators has 100% of them, but having to remove names from that list is downright humiliating.
Here's the link.

What did Chad do for Huckabee?
Huckabee doesn't have a chance at all to win the presidency. If you want to check out a real candidate with real values, check out Hillary Clinton. You won't be disappointed.

What did Chad G. do when Huckabee was governor?
Chad was director of intergovernmental affairs -- he managed the Gov's relationship with the National Governors Association, the Congressional delegation, and others.
Huckabee's lack of support in Arkansas in a little surprising. But then again, when Brenda Turner and Jason Brady got thrown under the bus, a lot of us former staffers lost what little enthusiasm we had for his candidacy. It's hard to earn loyalty when you don't show it towards others.
In Huckabee's defense, there are more than a few people in the Arkansas Republican establishment who think the best thing he ever did was fire Jason Brady and Brenda Turner. Neither of them had any idea what conservative values or Republican interests were. (That is why their firing by Huckabee was such a surprise, who in my opinion has a conservative agenda on guns, abortion, and little else.)
