YouTube Debate: Huckabee Brags about Wanting to Give College Scholarships to Illegal Aliens

I brought you this story earlier. It looks like Huckabee's learned his lesson about lying to cover up his record. His new tack is to embrace his liberal record. Last night in the YouTube debate he said that he was proud that he wanted to spend our money to send illegal aliens to college. He then gave a very tortured explanation of how it was supposedly conservative to spend our money on illegal aliens.

The fact is that is one of the reasons Arkansas is a Sanctuary State. In his State of the State Address, which I brought you earlier, Huckabee says that we should have open doors to illegal aliens and give them opportunities.

He opposed 287(g) being enforced because he claimed that we didn't have the money to spend on law enforcement, the one legitimate use of state money.

He also lied, again, when he said that he would require the illegal alien to have been in Arkansas schools all their life and be applying for citizenship. The bill never said anything about that.

The fact is that Mike Huckabee is a big government, nanny-state, liberal "Republican". He did it again in his speech, by insinuation, but he used to be much more overt in accusing those of us, the majority of Arkansans, who oppose giving our tax dollars to illegal aliens racists, bigots, and bad-Christians.
