Huck Peddling Commutations?

David Sanders has a superb piece in National Review about another of Mike Huckabee's suspect commutations.
The highly irregular commutation of Eugene Fields, a habitual drunk driver, is, by far, the most remarkable case of influence peddling I've seen since Bill Clinton's last minute pardons.
Fields' wife made several contributions to the Republican Party of Arkansas, totaling over $10,000, over a short period of time, which was punctuated by his extraordinarily early release.
Once again, the gloss wears thin on Huckabee's tin-foil armor.
Here's the link.
Also, here's Sanders' latest Arkansas News column, sizing up Wednesday's debate. He accurately describes Fred Thompson as the victor and analyzes the other performances.
