Limbaugh Responds to Huckabee's Pitiful Plea

Rush Limbaugh responded magnanimously to Mike Huckabee's feigned attempt to smooth things over. Jonathan Martin at Politico has the story, again.

Rush accepted Huckabee's apology, but did not modify his opinion of Huckabee as a liberal.

In an email response Rush wrote, "Gov. Huckabee's campaign is engaged in identity politics at this moment, so I understand his adviser's/supporter's intent to put the focus on me rather than the substance of my commentary."

Rush didn't respond well to Huckabee's rude suggestion that Rush contact him. As I pointed out in my previous post, Huckabee could have gotten in touch with Rush if he'd wanted to. He was tweaking Rush by making such a rude suggestion that it was Rush's responsibility to contact him when it was a Huckabee staffer who had insulted Rush.

Here's the link.
