Beebe Burning Political Capital

As a good friend has said several times, Mike Beebe seems like a rock star right now because the state was in such a strong position when he took office, mostly due to the strong economy. The real question is what's he going to do when times get tight, especially since he's going to help cause a further contraction with his liberal policies? He's smart to spend his political capital right now, because his cachet will be significantly diminished if things don't stay as good as they are now.
