Why So Defensive, Gov?

After having to admit what I've been saying all along, that the severance tax will not pay for all the governor said, he admitted the other day that it would not. Now he's on the defense, having to try to sell and resell his supposedly locked up legislation.

For those Republicans who are unfamiliar with that smell, it's blood in the water. It's time for those of you on the fence and those of you on the wrong side to realize that this is the time to stand up and be Real Republicans. What are you waiting for? An engraved invitation? Well, here it is. Go out there and fight. That's what you were elected to do, not rubber stamp tax hikes.

The governor's now saying that 52% of Arkansas's wells will be paying the full tax by 2012. Is he taking into account the number that will probably be capped as a result of his tax? The university just released a study that shows that his tax will mean BILLIONS, with a B, less money in the economy and thousands fewer jobs because of the governor's insatiable desire for more government. I've said it before, the government grows. We recede.

Here's the link.
