Did You Know Your Tax Dollars Go To Lease Luxury Cars for U.S. Congressmen? And They Can't Cut Taxes?

When asked about why he doesn't lease a less expensive car Democrat Congressman Charlie Rangel, NY, had the following to say:

"I could probably find something for ... one of those red cars and then I think my constituents would say, 'With all the money that he gets, this is the respect he shows us?'"

...

Really? Rangel feels like it shows us respect for him to drive a Cadillac that costs us $774 a month, plus insurance, registration, and GAS!!!

I did some checking and he's paying almost double the price quoted for a lease on a loaded Cadillac DeVille in Manhattan. Here's the link to that.
