Milk Stabilization Gnomes Debates Raising Milk Costs on Consumers/Rewriting Laws of Economics

When this measure was being debated an unnamed member went to the Well in support claiming that it would not enable increases in the cost of milk. Members of the Stabilization Board have recently stated that it won't increase the cost to consumers because the increase won't be at the retail level...

Again, I call for more taxes and fees at this magical level where costs won't increase for the consumer or the producer in all areas. We should probably start at $1,000 per gallon so that we can help dairy farmers can become filthy rich. This will be an excellent turn of events since it won't costs consumers a dime.

I'm working on ways to increase fees in my own business below the retail level. I'm a little more ambitious. I'll probably raise mine by $1,000,000. I'm not sure who is going to pay them, but who cares? I'll be filthy rich in no time.

Here's the link.
