Pray for DPA Chairman Gwatney...Shot By Gunman at Democrat HQ
I broke away from my work today with a flurry of text messages and emails from state reps and various politicos to alert me to breaking news that Bill Gwatney, chairman of the Democrat Party of Arkansas, was shot by a 40 year old white male from McRae. The perp apparently went to the Arkansas Baptist Convention headquarters first by mistake and asked where the DPA hq was, while brandishing a firearm.I want to encourage all of you to pray for Chairman Gwatney. I've just received a report that he isn't doing well.
The perp was killed in a shootout after a chase at the Sheridan exit.

Any description of perp? Motive? Dobbins connection?
Looks like the perp beig a "white" male might eliminate a Dobbins angle. Interesting thought, though.
That's shameful. Pray for Mr. Gwatney. That's the most important thing right now.
Thank you, there is certainly no reason to mention Dobbins. This is event is a tragedy. Please pray for Mr. Gwatney.
