AP: "Arkansas Health Leaders Urge Ark. House To OK Seat Belt Law"...More Like Arkansas Health Nannies

The justification for this is going to become that the state is "paying" for our health care (actually, we, the taxpayers, are), so they can tell us what to do. Again, arrogant legislators and other elites are smarter than we are. We can't be trusted to choose whether to wear our seat belts, so we need our social betters to tell us to do so. Oh, thank you, wise overlords. Honestly, the extent of the arrogant condescension in this legislative session is terrifying. I'm truly afraid to see what future sessions will be like. There are an endless number of "good ideas" and "safety issues" and laws that are "for the children". We won't recognize America after too much more of this.

Here's the link.
