Fire And Ice: Media Created Climate Crises Of Last 100 Years
This is a superb example of the remarkable and shameless propaganda perpetrated by the media to push a climate hoax as a crisis. It's a very thorough study of the vacillation between GLOBAL WARMING!!! and global cooling alarmism. Here's the link.

Cellphone Bills Filed Because We're Too Stupid To Make Decisions For Ourselves
I'm dying to see the overwhelming statistical data to demonstrate that car accidents have gone up significantly since cellphone use has become widespread...
What's that? There isn't any? How can that be? Why would these politicians do this if there wasn't actually a problem. They do it because they like to tell people how to live their lives.
Everybody I know talks on a cellphone while driving and I don't know one who has had an accident while doing so. That's because the people who are having accidents while using cellphones are the same kind of people who were having accidents before the advent of cellphones.
Why do we allow politicians to create crises out of thin air. Show us the statistics to demonstrate a significant increase in accidents...not just an increase in accidents with cellphones, but accidents in general. Without showing that, it's pretty reasonable to assume that people who are prone to accidents are just starting to have them while using a cellphone.
It is sickening to see the never-ending march toward government telling us how to live our lives.

Stephie Hears Barry...Most Legislators Don't...And What's With The Misuse Of The Term "Panel" When Referring To Leglislative Committees?
Arkansas News Bureau is doing it, too, which makes it all the more interesting since they are also referring to a member of Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Advisory Committee as a member of a "panel", a story I brought you earlier today.
Here's the link to my earlier post.
Bill To Honor Atheist Stalls In Senate Committee
I, honestly, don't see why Rep. Smith is so eager to pass this. With statements like that in the picture, I can see why so many people are so exorcised about this bill. Why not just do a Founding Fathers Day?

FIRE Fat, Elitist, Smoking Nazi Dan Hawkins
Claiming that most people who smoke have a mental disorder is way beyond "lack(ing) good taste."Governor Beebe needs to give this arrogant elitist the boot, now. This is absolutely revolting. The irredeemable arrogance of that statement is beyond the pale.
It does offer a glimpse into the elitist mindset of politicians in Little Rock who are foisting another tax on Arkansans, one that will, eventually, be saddled on those of us who don't smoke, since the number of smokers continues to decline.
Mr. Hawkins also, obviously, isn't living a very healthy lifestyle and should be forced to pay higher taxes for Twinkies, so that the taxpayers of Arkansas aren't saddled with his enormous future health care costs.

Reagan's Inauguration Tops Obama By 4 MILLION Viewers
No wonder. He won by a real landslide and promised (and delivered) a huge recovery, based on freedom, not government control. Oh, and this speech is, at least, 1,000 times better than Obama's dud speech. It's refreshing to hear a speech by a great president, a president who trusted US to solve our problems more than government.

Jonesboro Company Lays Off 100...Lawmakers Give Themselves A Raise...
The arrogant nerve of this move is unconscionable, but, unfortunately, business as usual for politicians. The governor is trying to do what he does best by signing the pay increase but declining to take the pay raise. If he was really committed to the people of Arkansas, he should have vetoed it. He wants his legislative colleagues to get a raise, though, so they'll do what he wants.

Sanders Draws Attention To Inappropriate Timing Of Governor's Cigarette Tax Hike
“Is it time to raise taxes?” That's a great question from prominent Rep. David Dunn, D-Forrest City. From there, we should be asking why we NEED this trauma system? Where are the masses of people who are going untreated because we supposedly don't have an official trauma system?
Also, the governor's plan will actually raise taxes on all of us, including non-smokers, since a) government programs always cost more than estimates and b) smokers are a shrinking population and this punitive tax will further decrease that population.
David Sanders, whose column has become a juggernaut, once again calls attention to another flawed government scheme.

650 Top Climatologists Tell UN GLOBAL WARMING!!! Is A Myth
So much for consensus. No wonder libs don't want to debate this issue and they're trying to change the name to "climate change". It's kind of embarrassing to be in the midst of a 10 year cooling period and blame it on "GLOBAL WARMING!!!"Here's the link.
RINO Bisbee's Double Talk Is Too Much To Stomach
Who, exactly, is going to pay for the new government buildings he's proposing??? Is he suggesting that the politicians and bureaucrats in Benton county pass the hat to pay for his new programs? Of course not. The taxpayers who are supposedly "not here to serve" these "public servants" will be expected to foot the bill.
This egregious parsing of government growth and was as parsimony is utterly insulting. Benton county is so unfortunate that it sidled itself with this most shameless of liberal "republicans" as its county judge. Dave Bisbee is insulting every resident in Benton county by pretending that foisting a larger government burden on them is somehow to serve them, when it further enthralls them to the never-ending burden of never-ending government.

Big Brother Is Coming For Your Guns
A bill has been proposed by a democrat congressman from Illinois which will require federal licensing of all handguns, based on the popular assumption (lie) that gun crime will go down if honest gunowners let the government track their guns.FYI, stupid liberals, criminals won't register their guns. Sanders Nails Liberals On Censoring Scientific Testimony On GLOBAL WARMING!!! Hoax
That's just one example of the blatant censorship being perpetrated by the democrat leadership, in their effort to cripple Arkansas's economy with ineffective and draconian carbon tax and failed cap and trade system.
Rep. King's question was pretty fair considering the remarkable coincidences surrounding the Center for Climate Strategies' shadowy control over the entire process of the creation and function of the commission.
Once again, these "public servants" are trying to create a crisis to form the impetus to tax and control us more. I'm thankful to Rep. King for his insightful and bold question. It is nothing short of a crime, literally, that this commission has not fulfilled its mandate to study whether man made GLOBAL WARMING!!! actually exists.

About That Pay Raise...
I mentioned, yesterday, that the state senate voted to give themselves and other fat cat politicians a pay raise. It was buried in the story about the animal cruelty bill.Apparently, things are so great in the economy, as taxpayers struggle with job losses, et al, that the state senate thought it was high time to give themselves a raise!!!
So much for them being "public servants". Note that they are giving themselves a pay raise while Arkansas taxpayers are struggling to make ends meet, losing jobs, etc... in an economic downturn.
If ever there was time when politicians ought to refrain from giving themselves a pay raise, it's in times like these. If ever the taxpayers of Arkansas deserved a pay raise, in the form of a significant tax increase (more than 2/3s of 1% of the state budget), it's in times like these.
These politicians have a lot of gall to suggest that the taxpayers should continue to languish while they to loll around like fat cats, demanding that we pay them more.
Honestly, legislators get all the free steak dinners they can eat from lobbyists, $1,800/month for "office expenses", per diem, and mileage, all TAX FREE, since they are "reimbursements, in addition to their salaries. Oh, and then there's the subsidized, greatly discounted Capitol Hill apartments, with free cable, internet, utilities, laundry, etc... Are we really expected to allow these fat cats to give themselves a raise?
Another topic for a future post: note that we never read about the government laying people off or cutting pay. On the contrary, government is a growth industry. If a government program fails or overspends, they just demand more money.

Obama is going to be responsible for every American who dies as a result of him releasing these terrorists. This is truly scary. He is apparently very proud that he is going to release a bunch of terrorists. For any of you who want to question my choice of words, consider that giving these terrorists an ACLU lawyer and the nature of their "arrest" and how evidence was gathered against them will guarantee their release, assuming Obama doesn't just open the gates and let them leave Club Gitmo.

Animal Cruelty Bill Passes Senate...Oh, And So Does A Pay Raise For Politicians!
Where should I begin?Buried in this article about the animal cruelty bill, is a short blurb stating that, "the Senate gave final approval to a pay raise for legislators, constitutional officers and judges."
I'll do a whole post about that one. Apparently, things are so great in the economy, as taxpayers struggle with job losses, et al, that the state senate thought it was high time to give themselves a raise!!!
Back to the "animal cruelty" bill...check the criminal code and you'll find that this proposed law is more strenuous in its punishment of "animal abuse", which is a debatable term in many cases, than CHILD ABUSE! Sue Madison is happy as a clam about it, trumpeting that there were no "no" votes in the senate.
It's remarkable that this pet project (forgive the pun) of the liberal grand damme of the senate is being taken seriously. Consider that it has failed miserably for several sessions, now. If a Conservative attempted, but failed, to pass a piece of controversial legislation for several sessions, other legislators would roll their eyes and tell him to stop wasting his time. When Sue Madison does it, though, they just finally decide to roll over, like she's Bob Dole in the 1996 primary and it's her turn to win something.
It's very interesting that the supposed non-partisan nature and collegiality of politics in Little Rock only seems to work in favor of democrats. Exactly how many pieces of Conservative legislation has Sue Madison helped pass unopposed for the sake of getting along?
More on the pay raise, tomorrow.

Legislator Files Bill That Discriminates Against Home Schoolers
Rep. David Cook, D-Williford, a former school administrator, apparently thinks home schooling families shouldn't have the same rights as families who seek to move their kids from public to private schools. He wants to make it illegal to pull your kids out of a public school to homeschool them during the school year. He also wants to give the local public school administrator broader control over home schooled kids, even though, they are not, and should not be, under the authority of a public school. As usual, there's a generic excuse for this that some undefined number of parents don't have their kid's best interest at heart. This is just one more example of the nanny state knowing what's best for our kids. Besides, they care more about our kids than we do.
This is a bad precedent and it's none of the state's business to tell parents that they cannot make decisions for their own children.

Coronation "Poem" An Insult To 4 Year Olds, Everywhere...FYI: Don't Send Your Kids To Yale
The "poem" at yesterday's coronation of Barack HUSSEIN Obama was a rambling, pointless mess. Worse yet, she's apparently a professor at Yale, which is an embarrassment to Yalies the world over. Robert Frost must be rolling over in his grave.Honestly, four year olds write better "poetry", if we're going to call it that. To prove it, I've constructed an alternative poem, which is actually a poem and actually makes sense.
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
You love Obama,
and he loves you.
Socialism is great,
Socialism is good,
With it you don't
Have to work for your food.
"Yes we can,"
He did say,
---Twas gobbledegook,
But voters did vote
Without a closer look.
If you want to repeat
The Great Depression, again,
Just let Mr. Obama
Accomplish his end.
He'll take from the rich
To give to the poor
And freedom and America
Will be no more.

44th President...
Speech finished, not worth being set in stone. Pretty uninspiring.
A lot of his voters were disappointed. They were expecting to be told they didn't have to pay their mortgages...
The poem is STUPID. She's certainly no Robert Frost.
The prayer almost made me wonder where Jeremiah Wright was. Then he had to say the part about white people learning what's right, whereas the other races were victims.
Where was the hope? Well, at least we have the first African president.

This Is Where The Cowboy Rides Away...UPDATE: Commutes Ramos And Compean On Last Day!!!
Thank you, President Bush.A very good piece from Matt Lewis of Townhall.
President Bush was cursed by his own success. He successfully kept us safe from more terrorist attacks following 9/11. This allowed others to grow complacent, though he never did. He was vigilant to the last. Unfortunately, this gave many ungrateful people the luxury of focusing on his shortcomings and browbeating him for everything under the sun.
Liberals truly, irrationally hate President Bush. Conservatives, many of us, are disappointed. Many Conservatives have abandoned him because of their thrall to conventional wisdom. Some of us, though, remember the good things and that we are safer and 50 million people are free because of him. As Matt Lewis points out the president, for all his faults, is "an upright, downright honest man."
It may not be too long until some of us realize how good we had it. I miss him already. He is a good, sincere man, not perfect, but far better than many give him credit. His enduring legacies of protecting us from terrorism and appointing two superb conservatives to the Supreme Court will be paying dividends long after the dust has settled in Crawford.

Governor Claims Trauma System Too Important To Discuss or Debate
Do we currently have a trauma system, as proposed by the governor? Of course not? Why don't we have one already? Has there been an upsurge in traumatic injuries? Nope.
Somehow, though, we cannot do without this new trauma system. There's something missing here. I always find in troubling when a politician tells us something is too important to debate. This is just one more example of government demanding that we let it grow while we shrink in a struggling economy.
Note that there aren't any government layoffs and that despite the shrinking economy government keeps on growing. Don't these "public servants" see a problem here? How are we going to pay for all the "services" they provide for us when we can't afford them anymore?
So, when the governor says this is too important to allow debate, we should start demanding debate. Stifling debate seems to be going on a lot in this one party state. We're told that GLOBAL WARMING!!! is too important to debate and a commission which is required by law dutifully ignored the law and censored debate. This draconian behavior is chilling to freedom and smacks of totalitarianism.
When we demand debate we should ask the many glaring questions that arise, like: what's the impetus for this? Is there an upsurge in traumas that demand this? Why is it the government's role to perform this service. If you drive around the state, you'll find a number of private medical practices, most of which didn't require a government program to establish themselves. Why? Because there was a need and they filled it. If there was a pressing need not being met, some enterprising doctor or group of health care professionals would scramble to be the first to meet it.
Unfortunately, the taxpayers of Arkansas are being asked to fix a problem which doesn't exist. Where do you think people with severe trauma injuries go? To hospitals that already exist. The governor has found a solution and now he's demanding that we ignore the fact that the problem it's supposed to solve does not exist.

Arkansas Democrats Tie Themselves To Obama Over State Holiday For Obama Coronation
A very important question will be whether voters, who overwhelmingly opposed Obama, will be forced to pay legislators for not working. Will they receive per diem and mileage, even though they will have the day off?Democrats in Arkansas are going out of their way to pay homage, at taxpayer expense, to a man who was the most unpopular electoral choice in Arkansas in quite some time. They're going to pay for this. Mark my words. Why should Arkansas taxpayers be required to foot the bill for a day's pay honoring a man whom they resoundingly rejected at the ballot box?
Here's the link.
Secure Arkansas Back In Action
This is very good news. Despite being delayed by Attorney General Dustin McDaniel, Secure Arkansas did an incredible job in collecting a huge amount of signatures, falling just shy of the required number. They will be a force to be reckoned with in the coming session. Also, I've been hearing some devastating ads on the radio about the Catholic Diocese inserting itself into the laws of Arkansas, as if it's okay to break laws as long as the lawbreakers are poor or from another country.
Here's a superb example of the devastating logic being laid on the local Catholic Diocese.
Who dictates political policy in Arkansas? The Governor and legislature, corporations, or the Catholic Church? Or all of the above? Catholic Bishop Anthony B. Taylor has launched an attack against Arkansas citizens. Taylor states “Catholics are called to welcome immigrants, regardless of how they came to this country”, he states “No government has the right to deprive anyone of their God-given rights”. The Vatican does not permit any immigration.
Bishop, what are the god-given rights which apply to criminals? Are you saying Mexicans can invade our borders, steal our jobs, destroy healthcare & public education, and break other laws and not be deported? Your politically correct compassion (follow the money) at taxpayer expense would be better demonstrated by the Vatican selling off its treasure troves and dispersing it to poverty-ridden Catholics.
The Catholic Church should clean up its house and cease attacking our sovereignty and rule of law. 88% of Mexico’s population is Catholic, move your crusade to Mexico.
Would Bishop Taylor stand up for my rights to enter the Vatican illegally ("immigrate")? I doubt it. I'm pretty sure I'd be called security breach and be promptly kicked out (deported). Here's the link.

Governor Beebe Shutting Down State Government In Honor Of Obama Coronation (Ahem, Inauguration)
I'm pretty sure this didn't happen for President Bush. Are we going to have to pay state employees for this day off? Can the taxpayers of Arkansas really afford to give away a day's pay for the "services" lost just so the governor and his democrat cronies can honor a democrat president?
We'll remember what a big booster the democrat party and the guv are when Obama hurls us head long into a 2nd Great Depression when his socialist plans go into place.

Support Israel
Why is the world so nonsensical? Israel has patiently tried to negotiate with Palestinians for decades, while their innocent civilians are targeted. The world only cries foul when Israel strikes back. They are blamed because, surprise, women and children are killed because Palestinians set up rocket batteries in schools and hospitals.Meanwhile, Obama suddenly doesn't have an opinion about foreign policy... He claims it's because there can only be one president at a time on foreign policy matters. That didn't stop him from being wrong about every other foreign policy he's stated in the past. What he's really waiting on is for things to shake out a little more so he can figure what side to be on.

Huckabee Lies About His Liberalism To Ann Coulter...
Ann's not going to like Huckabee's dishonest "clarifications". Mike Huckabee raised our taxes by half a BILLION dollars as governor of Arkansas. He made a big deal to her about advocating the "Fair Tax", something he NEVER did until he ran for president.
I personally documented the Huckster's repeated lies about his pleas for tax increases It's disconcerting to see the "Christian" politician being so purposefully disingenuous on every issue they discussed. Ugh, I hate even to mention Huckabee. It's disturbing to see him prosper on the widely held misconception that he is conservative. He wasn't when he was in power. I hope I don't have to trot out the myriad posts in which I documented his endless lies and liberalism.
I know Ann's not one for being lied to, so I look forward to her letting him have it after she reexamines his record.
It was quite appropriate that Mike had Jerry Springer on after Ann. I wish she hadn't stooped to be on with him, though.

U.S. Unemployment Hits 7.2%...Governor Beebe Giving Us Spare Change, Not Even 1% Of State's Growing Budget
$30 million dollars out of a $4.5 BILLION budget is a measly 2/3s of 1% of the state's budget. That's how much spare change the governor begrudgingly thinks he can spare for languishing Arkansas taxpayers. The governor is not even willing to give us the other 2 cents off the grocery tax that he promised 3 years ago.
I'll be covering this more in the coming weeks, but the state budget is going to grow far more than the pitifully anemic 2/3s of 1% proposed to be cut by the 1 cent grocery tax cut.
That doesn't take into account the 50 cent cigarette tax and natural gas severance tax, both of which take money out of the hands of taxpayers that they could otherwise use to buy other goods and services.
We need to consider the effects of the proposed cigarette sales tax before it sails through. It cuts into the buying power of smokers, but also the potential revenue of the stores where they shop. As unemployment goes up it's startling to me that the governor and legislators aren't considering the consequences of cutting into the buying power of Arkansans.
The governor and the legislature apparently think that a growing state government is more important than helping a shrinking private sector. They know what to do with our money better than we do, I guess.

Beebe Offers A Glimpse Into Mindset Of "Public Servants" About Tax Cuts And Budgets
Despite the fact that the governor isn't going to fulfill his promise to cut the entire grocery tax 3 years after he made it and that it is a paltry amount that will do very little to spur economic growth, the governor acts as if he's being very magnanimous.
It's not as if the governor's been really careful with our money. Remember when he just had to spend $75,000 of our money on a new chandelier for the Governor's Mansion?
All this talk is despite the fact that state government is projecting an increase in revenue and will, as always, continue to grow. In a time when the budgets of Arkansas taxpayers are shrinking, is there any excuse for state government not to do the same? After all, we are the ones who pay for the never ending growth of government, which the governor thinks is so hard to deprive. Why not deprive the government? They find it so easy to deprive us, to take food off our family dinner tables.
This is just one more disturbing glimpse into how these "public servants" view us as their servants. They can't spare a dime, much less any significant amount of OUR money, even when we're struggling. They MUST continue to grow government, while our family budgets struggle.
Governor, if you really want to be a taxcutter, slash taxes, slash government. Don't let it grow this year. Why not? Our budgets get slashed by government all the time. There is no excuse for the government to grow this year while our pantries grow empty.

Apparently, the Center for Climate Studies felt the same way, so much so that they thwarted Arkansas law. The question is why they felt so strongly. They wanted to steamroll this and allowing debate isn't a good way to get a rubber stamp. The many inconvenient facts about their shoddy "science" can't be a very encouraging basis for debate.
It turns out that the GLOBAL WARMING!!! Commission was required by the law that established it to debate and study the science of GLOBAL WARMING!!! The commission was prevented from doing this by an official memo which declared that they would only be allowed to discuss how to solve this hoax.
Now, if GLOBAL WARMING!!! is established science beyond refutation, why wouldn't they be allowed to study it? The ironic thing about advocates of this hoax is that they portray those who would debate its validity as people who believed that the Earth was flat. Ironically, it was the flat earthers who would not debate the issue, just like the alarmists who refure to debate today.
Sanders' column, today, is truly a must read. Other eye-opening revelations include the fact that the Center for Climate Studies (which apparently doesn't study, or allow study of, the climate) was hired months before the commission even began, which indicates that the whole thing was set up from the beginning to do just what it did, to rubber stamp the "report" issued by CCS.
If you only read one thing, today, read David's column. This will blow your mind and make you mad, unless you're one of those liberals who doesn't believe in debate. If you are, you have to ask, why your leaders are so dead set against debate.
Also, you'll notice that the GLOBAL WARMING!!! Commission has already begun changing its name to Climate Change Advisory Group, in preparation for the fact inconvenient truth that the climate has been cooling for the last decade.

Brummett Offers John McCain As Refutation Against Fact That Climate Is Cooling And Carbon Follows Warming
First of all, it's important to note that Brummett is using the term "climate change" in addition to GLOBAL WARMING!!! There's a reason for that. Brummett contends that the climate is warming, despite the fact that the climate has been cooling since 1998. But remember, John has already announced that he isn't as interested in "facts" as he is in "truth", even if facts are kind of important to establishing truth.
"Prevailing science also is that modern man releases a lot of damaging matter into the atmosphere — carbon, greenhouse gases."
Again, John is repeating talking points as if they haven't already been disproved. Scientific actually shows that carbon follows warming. It doesn't drive it. Another inconvenient truth.
"I don’t know the science. Leave me out of the science. I turn to John McCain. Yes, sir. John McCain.
"He said in the presidential race that he believed global warming to be so and that modern man’s activities were, to some disputed extent, responsible or exacerbating. But he said that, either way, it would be good of us to find a way to limit our unhealthy emissions, simply as responsible stewards of the planet."
That's rich. Are you actually trying to influence us by citing a politician as a scientist after pointing out that politicians aren't scientists and that you don't understand the science? Why not cite Algore while you're at it? That still doesn't prove anything. FYI, John: That's wasn't something that got us to vote for McCain. We voted for him in spite of that."And, he (McCain) said, finding a way to limit our unhealthy emissions would create an entire new avenue of economic growth."
Okay... Again, a liberal illustrates his ignorance. If this would drive economic growth, private capital would invest in it without the promise of government subsidies.
"There are jobs in windmills, hybrid cars, recycling and energy-efficient retrofitting of buildings. That would be better economic practice than making bad mortgages and packaging bad securities based on bad mortgages."
Correction: there were jobs in windmills, and those other things, when the price of energy was more expensive. Unfortunately, there are far more efficient sources of energy and types of cars people who live outside Hillcrest would rather drive.
Now, John, stay change the channel, because I'm going to continue to flood it with science that is more compelling than citing John McCain.
Sowell On The Lies Of The Great Depression...Unemployment Didn't Go Up Significantly Until Government Intervention
It rose precipitously after the passage of Smoot Hawley. We are on the verge of a Second Great Depression IF we continue down this road of demanding government to do something, rather than let capital sort itself out.
Sowell's piece touches on a number of facets of the Great Depression that I've highlighted before, illustrating that it was government intervention that caused it to last as long and become as bad as it did.

Redefining Crime: ILLEGAL Alien Clinic At UA Law Can't Read
Crime: Unlawful activityThat's the definition of crime. The genius's at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, School of Law have started a new legal clinic and apparently don't know that illegal aliens are violating the law. They should demand a refund for their tuitions.
Legal clinics exist to give law students practical experience in various types of law. As if there weren't enough bad lawyers, now we're training more to thwart America's sovereignty. Yea...

Tolbert Report: AG McDaniel's Conflict of Interest...This Is Good
I would not be surprised if he took a dive in his obligation to defend what was Initiated Act 1, which he opposed, in the coming legal dispute over it.
Jason Tolbert wrote an excellent post about it earlier this week and I am sorry I didn't get to it sooner.
Here's the link.
Oh, McDaniel claims he's not going to recuse himself. Nice work, Jason. Keep it up.

Toyota Posts Loss...Guess They're Making Cars People Don't Want, Too
Sure, who wouldn't rather drive one of these golf carts than a Tahoe? We're told that the Big Three are failing because they're making cars people don't want, completely ignoring the huge costs they have because of onerous union contracts.

More From Sanders On GLOBAL WARMING!!! Commission
That's a succinct description of what would happen if we ended ALL carbon emissions in Arkansas. David's latest column, once again, offers more insights that will be ignored by Max Brantley as he preaches to members of his GLOBAL WARMING!!! cult.
One truly fascinating thing is David's conversation with a member of the commission, who was rather non-plussed by the railroaded agenda of some on the commission.

Does Brummett Work For GLOBAL WARMING!!! Commission?
His latest column appears to have been copied verbatim from talking points issued by the cookie cutter group that issued the commission's report. So what's wrong with this cookie cutter report? How 'bout the fact that we paid an exorbitant fee for a report that is almost identical to the report they issue to every state? This whole process is designed to line the pockets of these hoaxers, who are preying on the sentiments of libs who want to grow government and tell us what to do.

British MP Calls GLOBAL WARMING!!! A Con...Time For Arkansas Legislators To Take The Same Stand
I wish some of our common sense legislators would take this same stand. Arkansans are going to be told that we have to cough up billions for new programs to pay for this con and it's time we that we announce that the emperor has no clothes.
I've been corresponding with several legislators whom I know are concerned with this troubling development. I'm ready to go to battle with you guys for this.

HOAX Update: Governor Beebe Responds To Arkansas Journal
I see I'm going to have to keep presenting evidence.
One thing to look forward to is the possibility that the "GLOBAL WARMING!!!" Commission might be renamed the "Climate Change" Commission this legislative session. There's a reason why they would do that, which is that it's kind of embarrassing to have GLOBAL WARMING!!! rallies canceled because of blizzards, hence the change everywhere (not just in Arkansas). It begs the question of how you can blame "climate change" on man, though, given that the climate changes without us and it's kind of arbitrary (to make an understatement) to assign blame to man for something that would happen anyway.
But, when you're in a 10 year period of global cooling, it gets kind embarrassing to keep talking about GLOBAL WARMING!!!

Sanders Calls Out Expensive GLOBAL WARMING!!! Hoax
Meanwhile, David's column which calls a spade a spade is merely mocked as if he opposes clean air because he dares to question the reasoning for billions of dollars in new spending based on a hoax. This is a very timely column. David guest-hosted the Dave Elswick show last week and this was his topic. His guests offered a pile of evidence, as have I, and, oddly, Max Brantley and his ilk have offered NO response. It seems it would be really easy to disprove us if we were making up facts.
Strangely, Max is content to allow us to offer logic and evidence while he merely continues the pretense that merely claiming that man-made GLOBAL WARMING!!! is evidence enough in itself. It's not surprising really. Max is up to his eyeballs in this hoax, as is most of the liberal establishment. They eagerly jumped on the bandwagon because they're desperate to believe that man is destroying the planet. It's remarkable how quickly they forget the other hoax predictions of doom they've trumpeted, like Ted Danson's prediction that the ocean would be dead by now...
I could go on, but, for now, read Sanders' column.

Conservative Leadership: SC Gov. Sanford Demands Accountability From State Unemployment Office
Demanding accountability, such as basic facts of unemployment circumstances, the director of South Carolina's unemployment agency complained that it's not fair to ask for that information since his agency doesn't require it... Uh, that's sort of the problem. It's refreshing to see a conservative Republican governor taking a stand, especially after a decade of Huckabee doing the opposite.

"Does anybody else get it that his protection of America began, not with the start of his term, but AFTER 9/11."
Aside from the missing question mark, I have to ask: Does anybody else get it that FDR's protection of America began, not with the start of his term, but AFTER Pearl Harbor?
"The line is, "Bush has protected us from terrorist attacks." But they omit the footnote: Only after he allowed the worst terrorist attack in American history.
"Details are for losers, I suppose."
Indeed.
